Work of the Chief Information Officer council

The CIO Council meets on a quarterly basis to discuss progress being made in delivering the Transformational Government strategy.

The strategy falls into 13 workstrands which each have a CIO Council and Cabinet Office lead and are generally supported by a working group or board. Progress being made against the workstrands is detailed in the documents below.

We are also publishing working papers related to specific workstrands which have been discussed and adopted by the CIO Council.
